Avionics, Sensor and Guidance Lab
The Avionics, Sensor, and Guidance Lab at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) stands as a testament to the cutting-edge learning environment MIST offers to its students. Under the stewardship of Lecturer Debanan Bhadra, this state-of-the-art lab integrates both theory and practical learning in the field of avionics, exploring the depths of modern navigation and aircraft guidance systems. The lab is exceptionally equipped with high-tech gear such as an aircraft autopilot system, Instrument Landing System (ILS), Global Positioning System (GPS), Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Radio Altimeter, and a Glass Cockpit Trainer. These tools offer students an unparalleled opportunity to get hands-on experience with real-world avionics, enabling a deep understanding of the practical applications of theoretical concepts and fostering an environment of learning, innovation, and advancement.
